The Indian Point Park truly is one of the best scenic spots in the area. It offers bird lovers a chance to sight a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. In the daily hustle bustle of life, one hardly gets a chance to appreciate and observe nature at its best.
The Indian Point, gives every nature and bird lover this chance to see the beauty which nature has to offer, either in terms of its varied plant species or bird species. To facilitate this process, a walking trail, raised platforms and birding stations have been created. The raised platforms, specially cater to spotting of varied waterbirds.
One can also find several shorebirds like the willets, American oystercatchers along the beach or on the tidal flat lands. Along the bay, one can see different types of terns and gulls. The salt cedars attract various migratory birds.
