This scenic Malaquite beach is located at Padre Island National Seashore, alongside the south Texas coast. It’s the only place in the world where in you can find the longest stretch of barrier islands untouched and protected naturally.
Historically, Malaquite Beach was named after an Indian tribe, which was one of the tribes residing at Padre Islands. The Malaquite Beach is regarded as the pristine beach located at the Padre Island North Seashore. The beach most of the times is un-crowded and is a great beach side for those looking to relax and enjoy under the basking sun. It spreads of a few, more than 4-5 miles along the coast of gulf beach.
At the Malaquite beach, you can find a nice visitor lounge/centre, an observation deck, ample restrooms, showers, changing rooms.
It boasts of over forty camp-sites, plenty of picnic tables and a huge spacious parking lot, to make life easier when you are on a holiday.
