At Corpus Christi, the Museum of Science and History was inaugurated in 1957. Since then with its humongous 85,000 sq. ft facility has been providing enrichment to the minds of visitors.
In its vast collection which comprises of 87000 artefacts and more than 400000 pictures and various records which helps tourists/visitors to know and learn more about things out of day to day use or to modern technology or even designs, methods and techniques used in history of mankind. It is indeed one of the attractions in Corpus Christi.
This Museum of Science & History in its own way has an objective to collect and preserve cultural and natural historical objects and artefacts. It provides many educational exhibitions and programs to motivate and encourage learning through its collections.
There is something for everyone at this splendid Museum of Science and History. From The Learning Centre and Design Garden, to 7 different types of water preservation techniques, to the famous award winning garden, to the flyways and shorebirds exhibitions.
It also provides facilities on rent to arrange or host weddings, meetings, birthday parties, conferences etc. There are both outdoor as well as indoor facilities available.
